Services to Support Unaccompanied Immigrant Minors
Carrboro strives to be a compassionate and caring community and to create a welcoming environment for all people. On November 18th, 2014 the Board of Aldermen passed the Resolution Supporting and Welcoming Unaccompanied Immigrant Minors Fleeing Violence in their Home Countries. This resolution affirmed that Carrboro is a welcoming community for minors seeking refuge from violence in their home countries and is a welcoming community for the sponsors of these minors.
Below are resources that can support unaccompanied immigrant minors and their sponsors living in Carrboro.
