On September 10th, the Board of Aldermen received a report and discussed the need to increase stormwater service delivery, and directed staff to draft recommended changes to the stormwater rate structure and schedule a public hearing. On November 12th, the Board set a public hearing on the recommended changes for January 21, 2020. A 20% increase to the Equivalent Residential Unit fee (from $75/year to $90/year) is proposed, along with a new residential tier ($180/year) for residential properties with greater than 6000 square feet of impervious surface.
