CARRBORO, NC -- Calling all people on bikes! You’re invited to join Mayor Barbara Foushee and community members at 8 a.m. Friday, May 17, for the Community Bike Ride with Mayor Foushee.
Organized by the Carrboro Planning Department, this is a three-mile bike route as follows:
- Starts at Town Hall - 8 AM Friday, May 17
- W. Main Street to Communityworx
- Thrift Shop Bike Path to Braxton Foushee Street
- Braxton Foushee Street to Maple Ave Extension
- Maple Avenue Extension to Roberson Stree
- Roberson Street to Libba Cotten Bikeway
- Libba Cotten Bikeway to Merritt Mill Road
- Merritt Mill to Rosemary/Sunset
- Sunset to Starlite/Broad and Lloyd Streets
- E. Weaver to W. Weaver and back to Town Hall
Do you need a bike to borrow for the ride? Loaner bikes will be available to anyone who needs them (on a first-come, first-served basis).
Come join the fun! Take delight in every ride! Light breakfast snacks will be provided following the bike ride.
