PARKS AND FACILITIES UPDATE:Based on the Governors guidance and recommendations provided by various agencies, all Town of Carrboro parks will remain open, but amenities within the parks remain closed. No new facility reservations are being accepted at this time. A list of which areas are open and closed is below. For open areas, we ask that everyone follow social distancing, wear face coverings and use best practices when visiting these sites:

For open areas, we kindly ask for everyone’s cooperation as we implement these social distancing measures, request face coverings be worn, and any other best practices when visiting the parks. .
Please note during the Governor’s recent press conference, he was talking about state parks and not local parks. Our local Town of Carrboro parks will remain operating as we have been in recent weeks and as outlined above.
The Town will continue to work with other local and regional agencies and monitor the situation so that we keep the well-being and safety of the public first. We will provide updates as they occur.
