Past Meeting
The Carrboro Town Council met virtually Tuesday, Sept. 14, and took the following actions on the agenda posted at https://bit.ly/3tyS4cE
- Conditional Use Permit Extension Request for Lloyd Farm, Phase 1 at 700 & 706 Old Fayetteville Road - The Town Council approved a request for a date extension for when a Conditional Use Permit would otherwise expire. This permit has been extended to Oct. 22, 2023.
- Parking Lease Agreement with Fitch Lumber – The Council approved the lease agreement, which will temporarily add about 19 spaces to the Town’s public parking inventory. Fitch Lumber has agreed to lease this lot to the Town for three years to help alleviate parking for the construction of the 203 Project.
- Quarterly Reports (2021 Q1 & Q2) for the Town of Carrboro's CDBG-CV Grant No. 25-V-3525 – The Council received an update on the Community Development Block Grant - Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) from the NC Department of Commerce.
- Memorandum of Agreement to Accept Transportation Demand Management Grant Funds for FY21-22 – The Council authorized the Town Manager to execute the TDM Grant MOA for FY21-22.
- Presentation on the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan Alternatives Analysis – The Council received a presentation on the development of the 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan with a focus on the alternative analysis.
- Status Report on American Rescue Plan Act Funding – The Council received an update on grants to small businesses, information on interviews with nonprofit/human services organizations and the first steps for obtaining public input on possible ARPA priorities. The Council also amended the ARPA Grant Project Ordinance to reflect the final award amount.
