The Town of Carrboro’s Community Safety Task Force will hold a Listening Session from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, July 17, at the Marian Cheek Jackson Center, 512 W. Rosemary St. in Chapel Hill.
The purpose of the listening session is to receive community input on policing.
The Town of Carrboro’s Community Safety Task Force is in the process of developing actionable recommendations to the Town Council that will promote racial equity in law enforcement and the criminal legal system and enhance the safety and well-being of all Carrboro residents.
