The Town of Carrboro has a number of events scheduled for the month of May, 2017, in celebration of Bike Month, a national program established by the League of American Bicyclists in 1956. The activities will commence with a proclamation read at the May 2nd Board of Aldermen meeting. Many thanks to the Carrboro Bicycle Coalition and the Town of Chapel Hill for their collaboration on these events. May 10th 7:00 A.M. – National Bike/Walk to School Day: Coordinated bike ride for Carrboro Elementary, McDougle Elementary, Morris Grove and Carrboro High School.
