  7. Excursions - M&M Alpaca Farm

September 26, 2019, 12:00 PM - 4:30 PM @ Meet at Town Commons Parking Lot

Just down the road in Pittsboro NC, we will stop off for lunch (Dutch treat) and then visit M&M Alpaca Farms. Once at the farm we will take a tour where staff will tell you all about the alpacas, why they raise them, what they eat, shearing, fiber works, and so much more. Staff believe in respecting their alpacas the right to their space, meaning they choose their interaction level. They come up to the fence and give great photo opportunities, some allow petting, and some staff do treat feeding when they can but DO NOT GUARANTEE the exchange. Staff don't want you going home with spit as a souvenir. Once the tour has concluded you will have time to visit the retail space. There are lots of products on display, including lots of yarn, socks, hats, gloves, scarves, rugs, sweaters, and so much more! Ages: 18+ * Pre-Registration required for all trips.
