| Curbside recycling is a service managed by Orange County Solid Waste Management. The County also requires by law the recycling of certain items and materials (such as corrugated cardboard and construction and demolition debris). Please direct all questions and concerns to that office listed below.
If you need a recycling bin you may pick one up at: Orange County Recycling, administration office on Municipal Drive in Chapel Hill Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm or you may call Carrboro Public Works, Solid Waste Supervisor at (919) 918-7433 or email solidwaste@townofcarrboro.org to have one delivered. You are permitted to have one container per household at no charge. Additional containers are $7.00 each and can be purchased through the Orange County Recycling administration office listed below. |
