ORANGE COUNTY SENIOR
GAMES |

Senior Games is a year round health promotion for adults'
ages 55 or better. Activities include clinics, tournaments,
social activities, SilverArts, and local and state competitions
in a variety of sports and age groups. For more information
call Lisa Berley at 245-2015 or Terry Colville at 245-2016,
Senior Games Co-Coordinators. The Recreation and Parks
Departments of Carrboro, Chapel Hill, and the Orange
County Department on Aging coordinate this program.
The 2009 Games will be held April 20 - May 1, 2009;
SilverArts will be held April 6 - May 28, 2009. Be sure
to pick up your registration book in February.

|
SilverArts will be a juried art show at the Seymour
Center from April 6 through May 28. People interested
in entering a piece should complete a Senior Games SilverArts
Registration form contained in the registration packet.
Artists, or their representative, must deliver work
to the Robert and Pearl Seymour Center on Thursday,
April 2 from 9 am until 12 noon. The show will open
on Monday, April 6, at 3 pm. Please join us for both
the opening and afternoon tea. All artwork must be picked
up May 28 between 1-4 pm.
