TOWN COUNCIL MEETING SUMMARY 4/21/20

CONSENT AGENDA:

• The Council approved the meeting minutes for the April 7, 2020 meeting. 
• The Council approved a request to increase the maximum grant for rental assistance and authorized the Town Manager to approve changes to the rental assistance program.
• The Council approved the five-year Orange County consolidated plan and FY2021 HOME activities.
• The Council approved the Affordable Housing Advisory Commission funding recommendations.
• The Council approved an update on the Town’s Emergency Ordinance.
• The Council accepted an update on response rates for the 2020 Census. 

• The Council discussed the Covid-19 Situation Report.
• The Council approved  the report on Carrboro Small Business and Non-Profit COVID-19 Emergency Loan/Grant Fund and approved to reopen the loan application process.
• The Council accepted an update on planning projects.
