On September 10, 2019, the Town Council received a report and discussed the need to increase stormwater service delivery, and directed staff to draft recommended changes to the stormwater rate structure and schedule a public hearing. An increase to the Equivalent Residential Unit fee (from $75/year to $90/year) along with a new residential tier ($180/year) for residential properties with greater than 6000 square feet of impervious surface was adopted in January, 2020.
On January 9, 2024, the Town Council received a report on a new residential program and set a public hearing. On February 27, 2024, the Council changed the Equivalent Residential Unit fee from $90/year to $100/year to fund the new program.
