Glenna Wolfe Hurlbert has lived in the Chapel Hill area for many years although she originated from a halcyon time and place of long summer days on clear rivers in the Missouri Ozarks. She has many interests—travel, sailing, gardening, scuba (she met her late husband, Stuart, underwater). More than anything she wants to learn everything! She is a constant student. Her poems and essays have been collected in various anthologies and periodicals. In 2008 her chapbook, Broad Reach, was published. In May 2015, she performed with the cast of writers in the Listen to Your Mother shows at William Peace University in Raleigh, NC.
